Finals are almost here but I've got some stuff to upload! Be ready for some massive uploads in the next few weeks, I've got some really good drawings all ready to upload!

Dang I was getting tired of that old journal.  Time for an update!  I know I don't upload a lot on here, but I guess deviantART has become less of a priority.  I suppose that's a good thing because that means I'm focusing on school/running more, but it's also bad because I don't draw as much!

Summer is coming up and although this summer will be craaaaaaazy busy (with trips and stuff), I'm taking advantage of time now before finals to plan out what I need to draw during the summer (yes, I'm that organized.  I want a plan for summer so I don't end up bored out of my mind when I have free time...).  So, I have planned out an ENTIRE REGIONAL POKEDEX in the past....four, four and a half hours-ish.  I've got 173 pokes total, without legendaries (except for one), so I'm feeling pretty accomplished.  Granted, it's not drawings of them, but I have all the types planned out.  The first 75 or so are ideas I've had for a while, and the last 100 are ideas I've come up with today.  So I'm expecting myself to scrap some ideas......When I was doing the last 100 I had counted out how many of each type I had, so I tried to get as close to the same number as possible for each type.  I believe water and fighting both have 21 pokes, then grass has 20 and fire has 18......so my goal for this summer is to finish this Pokedex (because I know I'll change it a lot ) and to get concepts done for all the Pokémon I have in the Pokedex.  Then we'll see how much I can get done in the next school year which probably won't be anything at all....so I'll upload sketches then.

Anyway, I kind of want to take a break from drawing people/character designing because drawing has been stressing me out lately (to say the least), and although the whole "creating 200-ish Pokémon" thing will stress me out I want to work on my creativity and to loosen up a bit with my drawings.  (The reason why I don't upload a lot of stuff on here (partially) is because when I want to upload something on here, I feel more pressured and mess up on inking (I freehand ink, I don't use the computer) and then I get frustrated and don't work on the drawing for a month because I get busy/lazy/and forgetful).

Oh, and my region will be called....(drumroll please..).......the Vermogan Region! (Which is Dutch for "power", originally spelled "vermogen", I changed the "e" in it just....because I guess).  So, until next time!
